Anna Destromp

Anna Destromp 1924 � 2009 GREENFIELD � Anna (Jaskulka) Destromp, 84, died Sunday, April 19 at Charlene Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Holyoke on December 25, 1924 to the late John and Mary (Deren) Jaskulka. Anna was a former parishioner of both the Precious Blood Church and the Mater Dolorosa Church. Anna truly loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also had a special place in her heart for all of her feline friends. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Antonio H. Destromp in 1978. She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Brian H. Destromp Sr. and his wife Sue of Greenfield, Kenneth J. and Steven H. Destromp both of Chicopee; her daughter, Theresa A. Ellerbe and her husband Carroll of Lakeland, Fl; her three brothers Frederick, Edward and Walter Jaskulka; her ten grandchildren, Kathleen, Brian Jr., Angela, Michael, Edward, Timothy, Melissa, Emma, Melissa and Christopher Banach; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Carley, Natalie Rose and Skylei. A funeral procession will form on Friday, April 24 at 9:15 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St, Holyoke. There will be a Service of Remembrance at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 23 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made, in Anna�s memory, to a charity of one�s choice.
