Andrew M. Krassler

HOLYOKE- Andrew M. Krassler, 26, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2014 in Yorktown, NY. Andrew was born in Holyoke on August 31, 1987 beloved son of Michael and Louise (Leclerc) Krassler of Holyoke. He was a 2004 graduate of Holyoke High School and continued his education at Holyoke Community College, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Andrew worked for the merchandising department at Pepsi Co. and shipping and receiving department at Precision Camera, both in CT. Most recently he worked at Jelly Belly Pools in Westfield as an installer. Andrew enjoyed cars and had a wild sense of humor that will be forever missed. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Louise Krassler of Holyoke; two sisters, Jennifer and Anita Krassler, both of Holyoke; his brother, Matthew Krassler of Holyoke; and most importantly his adored daughter, Alana Rose Krassler. He leaves his godparents, Richard and Nancy Paul and also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends. Funeral services for Andrew will be held Thursday, July 3, beginning at 8:45AM from the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St, Holyoke and followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St, Holyoke. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 4-7PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family to benefit his daughter, Alana Rose Krassler.
