Gulfport, FL – Alice B. (Paul) Kaminski, 89, formerly of Smiths Ferry in Holyoke, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2020 in St. Petersburg, FL. She was born on June 19, 1930, a daughter of the late John and Emma (Pombrainte) Paul. Alice was educated in the Biddeford, Maine School System and throughout her career she worked in the Real Estate business. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph P. Kaminski, in 2018; her daughter, Gail Smith in 2017 and a son, Paul Whitten in 2016. She is survived by her son, Arthur “Skip” Whitten and his wife Francine of Gulfport, FL; a daughter in-law Eloise “Tudy” Whitten of Chicopee, MA; 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and two great great-grandson. She also leaves two sisters-in-law, Lolly and Phyllis and several nieces, nephews, and loving family around the country. Visiting hours are Friday, January 17, 2020 from 5-7PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10AM in the Messier Funeral Home, followed by the burial in the Smiths Ferry Cemetery, (Route 5) Holyoke, MA.
