William P. Pilat 1925 � 2011 HOLYOKE � William P. Pilat, 85, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Mont Marie Health Care Center in Holyoke. Born in Pittsfield, November 22, 1925, he was the son of the late John and Mary Pilat. He attended Holyoke Trade School and worked for thirty-one years at Boxmaker-Rexam in Westfield. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred. He leaves a nephew, James and a grandnephew, Jack, two nieces, Debra and Monica, all of Florida. He also leaves his sisters-in-law, Ann Marie Brouillard and Irene Monchamp, a niece and nephews all of Holyoke as well as many dear friends. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Church in Holyoke. Burial will follow the Liturgy in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in South Hadley. A calling hour will precede the Liturgy from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home 1944 Northampton St. Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mont Marie Health Care Center, 36 Lower Westfield Rd. Holyoke, MA 01040.
