WILLIAM H. BROUGH 1955-2018 HOLYOKE- William H. �Bill� Brough, 62, of Holyoke, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Holyoke Medical Center. He was born on May 16, 1955, a son of Herbert and Helen (Boehler) Brough. William was an experienced gemologist and opened Bill Brough Jewelers in 1978. He was one of the first 15 Gemologists in the country and first 100 in the world. He brought love, laughs and silliness to all who were lucky enough to know him. In honor of Bill, please live life! Travel, listen, joke, shoot tequila, eat weird food, play Arlo Guthries� �Alice's Restaurant�, Pink Floyd, Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills and Nash and read the "Night Before Christmas" every year to your kids! Bill is welcomed to heaven by his younger brother Richard Brough and his father Herb Brough. He is survived by his loving mother, Helen Brough; his daughters, Crystal Kane of Southampton and Amanda Brough of Holyoke; his granddaughter Lily Kane, as well as his nephew Richard Brough and wife Angela. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 12PM to 4PM at Summit View/Hamels Creative Catering, 555 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA.
