Rosa J. Garcia

Tribute Holyoke – Rosa Julia Santiago Rosado Garcia, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday August 24, 2020 at the Holyoke Health Care Center. Born in Puerto Rico to the late Alfonso and Gracia Santiago, she was a longtime Holyoke resident. Rosa enjoyed dancing, cooking but most of all taking care of her home, husband and beautiful family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 80 years, Aureliano Rosado Garcia of Holyoke; by her children who will miss her dearly: five sons, Heriberto Garcia (Antonia), Hermes Garcia (Helen), Manuel Garcia (Zenaida), Ramon Garcia (Ciria), and Aurelio Garcia; her seven daughters, Aida Esther Barreto, Daisy Andino (Luis), Mirtha Santiago, Helida Medina (Thomas), Maribel Rackliff (Richard), Marissa Garcia and Nereida Tallman (Peter); many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Eliezer Garcia; daughter, Otilia Rosado and by three grandchildren, Alejandro Garcia, Jose Pabon and Mercedes Bayron. All services are private and burial will be held in St. Jerome Cemetery, Holyoke. Messier Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
