Roland J. Laverdiere

April 23, 1950 - June 11, 2022

Roland J. Laverdiere, of Westfield and beloved husband of Beverly (Stucenski) Laverdiere, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield at the age of 72. Roland was born in Holyoke, MA, a son of Armand and Rose (Beauchemin) Laverdiere, he was raised and educated in Holyoke and was a graduate of Holyoke Trade and later on received his associate degree from Holyoke Community College He was employed as a Machinist, working for several companies in the area before retiring from U.S. Tsubaki in Chicopee. In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by his son, Jason Laverdiere and his wife, Kate, four grandchildren that he loved: Sammy, Gage, Ashlynn and Nolan; siblings: Cecile Beauregard, Donald Laverdiere and wife Patti, and Debra Blanchard and husband Donald. He was predeceased by brother in law Bob Beauregard. Committal prayers and burial will be held for Roland on Friday, June 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Polish National Cemetery, Southampton Rd., Westfield, MA. There are no calling hours.
