PAUL E. OHREN 1934 � 2008 CHICOPEE � Paul E. Ohren, 74, died at Heritage Hall East on Friday, December 19, 2008. He was born in Litchfield, Illinois on October 14, 1934, a son of the late Leo and Katherine (Burkhart) Ohren. He attended schools in Illinois and proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He settled in�South Hadley for twenty years�after his discharge from Westover Air Force Base, then relocated to Chicopee. He retired as a letter carrier from the U.S. Postal Service. Paul enjoyed hunting, golf, bowling, and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 4044 in Chicopee. He is survived by three sons, Charles Cronkright of Chicopee, David Cronkright of South Hadley, and Michael Ohren of Omaha, Nebraska, two daughters, Paula Sullivan of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and Dori Wotus of Chicopee. He also leaves one brother, Thomas Jones of Illinois, and one sister, Mary Costa of Florida. He will be sadly missed by thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Koske on August 29, 1996 and his brother, Charles Ohren. Funeral services are Tuesday, December 23 at 9am from the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St. (Route 5) Holyoke followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Patrick�s Church, 30 Main St., South Hadley. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, December 22 from 4-8pm.
