Nicole Emilia Turgeon

NICOLE E. TURGEON 1946 - 2012 HOLYOKE- Nicole Emilia (Goulet) Turgeon, 65, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at home in Holyoke. She was born in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada on August 15, 1946 a daughter of the late Alpha Goulet and Valeda (Blais). Nicole was educated in Canada and was a graduate locally. She worked at Dinn Brothers Trophy in Holyoke for over ten years and retired in 2007. She is a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and formerly of Holy Family Church. Nicole enjoyed playing golf, shopping and lived to help others. Her warm and caring ways are an example to all she leaves behind. Nicole was predeceased by three of her brothers; Claude Goulet; Renald Goulet and Michel Goulet. Nicole will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 years, Rene Turgeon. She is survived by her mother; Valeda Goulet of Chicopee; her daughter Cynthia Dillon and her husband Michael of Agawam; her two brothers; Jean Louis Goulet of Augusta, ME; Robin Goulet of Chicopee; her sister; Colette Dufresne of Granby; her two adored grandchildren; Bryan Dillon and his wife Lindsay of Fortmill, SC; Christopher Dillon of Fortmill, SC and many friends and loving extended family members. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. The funeral ceremony will begin on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 8:45 AM from the funeral home and followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. The Rite of Committal and burial will at a later date.
