Mary C. Tesini

February 17, 1943 - July 9, 2014

HOLYOKE-Mary C. (Clare) Tesini, 71, passed away on July 9, 2014 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born on February 17, 1943 in Holyoke to the late John V. Clare and Mary O�Connor. In 1965, Mary and her husband Gerald Tesini were wed after being junior high and high school sweethearts for many years. She was a dental assistant for many years at Dr. Harold Ratchford�s office, and was later a teacher�s aide at Kelly School in Holyoke. Mary enjoyed playing scratch tickets and taking daily walks around the Holyoke Mall with her mother-in-law. She was also an avid cat lover and leaves her cat Sweetie. Mary was predeceased by her sister, Jean (Clare) Boggio. She is survived by her loving husband Gerald Tesini of Holyoke; two sons, Joseph Tesini of Westfield and Michael Tesini of CA; two grandchildren, Robert and Courtney Tesini of Westfield; one brother, John �Brud� Clare of South Hadley; a mother-in-law and walking partner, Josephine Tesini of Holyoke; a brother-in-law, Joseph Boggio of CT; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Jean Leighton of MA and several nieces and nephews. A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary will be celebrated on Saturday, July 12 at 10AM in Our Lady of the Cross Church, Holyoke and followed by the Rite of Committal and Burial in St. Jerome Cemetery, Holyoke.
