Lucille (Temple) Duperrault

September 2, 1929 - March 30, 2021

Tribute     Holyoke - Lucille (Temple) Duperrault, 91, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was a daughter of the late Harry and Alma (Rux) Temple. She was educated in the Holyoke schools and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for over 20 years at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home and in her retirement worked for 20 years at Cracker Barrel in Holyoke. She enjoyed working and in her spare time she liked to make cakes for other people. She loved gardening, cooking, her beloved dogs, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Duperrault and a daughter, Ruth Ann Duperrault and Linda Nunnally Chartier (2020). She will be missed by her children, David Duperrault and his wife Janet of Florida, Daniel Duperrault and his wife Lisa of Hampstead, NH, and Lois McClain and her husband Kevin of Holyoke with whom she lived with for many years. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two sisters, Carole Nelson of Connecticut and Mary Jane Terzi of Washington. She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Raymond and Richard Temple. A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 9am-10am at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St., Holyoke. Burial will be in the St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, 39 Olsen St., Chicopee. Please wear your mask throughout the funeral services and follow social distancing guidelines.
