Tribute Jean Marie (Kane) Fonseca, 64, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully on Monday August 16, 2021 at Mont Marie in Holyoke. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island on December 1, 1956 to James E. Kane and the late Nancy A. (Lamay) Kane. Jean was a graduate of Holyoke High School. She was employed as a Cashier with Stop and Shop for 20 years. Besides her father, she is survived by her siblings, Michael W. Kane (Elizabeth), Debra Scanlon (Patrick), Nancy A. Kane, and James W. Kane (Jennifer) and by several nieces and nephews, Katie, Kristen, Kylie, Avery, Isabel, Jesse, Olivia, and Kailee. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday August 20th at 12 noon in the St. Jerome Cemetery, Northampton St. in Holyoke, Holy Cross Section. There are no calling hours.
