Heriberto "Heri" Villanueva

August 22, 1990 - July 17, 2016

Boston- Heriberto �Heri� Villanueva, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 17, 2016 at his home. Heriberto was born in Springfield, MA on August 22, 1990 beloved son of Vilmarie (Davila) Villanueva of Tampa, FL and Roberto Villanueva, Sr. of Springfield, MA. He was a proud 2008 graduate of Holyoke High School and continued his education at Westfield State College, graduating with a Bachelor�s Degree in Communications. He currently worked for the Colonnade Hotel in Boston as the Assistant Manager. Prior to that he enjoyed working at Six Flags New England for several years. Heri loved life, he enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing, performing for school musicals, and most of all spending time with family and friends who will all miss his hugs. In addition to his beloved parents Heriberto is survived by his maternal grandfather, Andre Davila of Chicopee; his paternal grandmother, Primitiva Ramos of Chicopee; his brothers, Roberto Villanueva, Jr of Brandon, FL; Alberto Villanueva, of Springfield, MA; his sister, Amneris Villanueva of Holyoke, MA . He will also be missed by many caring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Vadalina Davila; paternal grandfather Saturnino Alvarez; an aunt, Vila Serrano-Vazquez; an uncle, Luis E. Serrano. Life celebration services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 4-7PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. His funeral will begin on Saturday at 7:30AM from Messier�s and be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9AM in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 435 Maple St., Holyoke.
