E. Ray Richardson

April 20, 1935 - August 4, 2019

Tribute HOLYOKE- Ray Richardson, 84, of Holyoke passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Mt. St Vincent Care Center. He was born in Ludlow, MA April 20, 1935 a son of the late Herbert and Marie Rose (Talbot) Richardson. He was educated locally and served honorably in the US Army during Vietnam. He worked for Dennison National for many years in the paper industry. He was predeceased by his wife, Annette (Labonte) Richardson in 2016. He enjoyed traveling to Aruba, country dancing and music and celebrating New Years. He is survived by his children, Carol Iwanski; David Richardson; Raymond Richardson; Ronald Richardson; Glenn Morisette; his step children, Billy Ely; Deborah Gamache; Richard Yvon; Debra Bowie; David Yvon; Nora Yvon; Kevin Brown; Henry Brown and Joe Derry. Ray also leaves several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, especially Ed “Can Man” Owen. He was predeceased by a step son Keith Brown in 1988. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 10:30Am-12Noon and be followed by a service at Noontime. The burial with military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
