Diana M Lacasse

HOLYOKE- Diana Mary (Orsini) Lacasse, 91, entered into eternal rest and peace on Sunday May 22, 2016 at Mt Saint Vincent Nursing Home. She was the former wife of J. Maurice Lacasse who died in 1999. She was born in Holyoke, January 21, 1925, the daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Equi) Orsini. A lifelong resident of Holyoke, she was educated locally and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. She worked for many years at Orsini�s Restaurant, which was owned by her family. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and volunteered for Kate�s Kitchen and Blessed Sacrament Church. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by; two brothers, Christopher and Andrew Orsini and one sister, Caroline Dunn. She is survived by her son, Richard T. Fohlbrook of Westfield; two daughters, Linda Dubuque of Holyoke and Karen Zenobi of Plainville, CT; a sister, Elaine Welch of Rhode Island; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. All services are private. The Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke, is the care provider.
