Carlos Alberto Laguer 1970 � 2012 CHICOPEE �Carlos A. Laguer, 41, died on Friday, April 13, 2012. He was born in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico on July 16, 1970, a son of Victoria (Gonzalez) and Marcos Laguer. He was raised and educated in Puerto Rico and worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family. Carlos will be remembered as great son, father, brother and a good friend. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Victoria (Gonzalez) and Marcos Laguer of PR; two sons, Carlos A. Laguer Jr. of Northampton; Deavan Laguer and his mother Miriam Melendez of Indian Orchard; his daughter Xenia Torres of Springfield; his brother, Noel R. Laguer and his wife Wanda (Perez) of Malden; two sisters, Marisol Laguer of Lawrence; Lydia E. Laguer and her husband Amado R. Lopez of Chelmsford; his three adored grandchildren, Nevaeh Delhoyo, Michael Licourt, both of Springfield; Carlos J. Laguer of Holyoke; his former wife, Migdalia Rios as well as extended family and many dear friends. Carlos was also predeceased by his loving son Jean Carlos Laguer, �Jon Jon�. Visiting hours for Carlos are Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. His funeral will begin on Friday, April 27th, 2012 at 9:00 am at the funeral home with services beginning at 10:00 AM. The Burial and Rite of Committal will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bay St., Springfield, MA.
