Bernal E. Ramirez

January 26, 1969 - December 30, 2020

Tribute Bernal Enrique Ramirez, 51 passed away on December 30, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Cartago, Costa Rica, a son of Felix Ramirez the late Maria Isabel (Mata) Ramirez. Bernal worked for several area jobs in Hospitality. He loved dancing, socializing, family gatherings, and playing Santa every year for holiday parties. He is survived by his father, Felix of Holyoke; a daughter, Airam of Costa Rica; childhood friend, Sylvester Murphy and seven siblings, Marco Ramirez, Rosa Rodriguez and her husband Angel, Patricia Ramirez and her husband Efrain, Maria Ramirez, Jim Ramirez and his wife Leah, Felix Ramirez and his wife Ashley McCarthy and Randal Ramirez; his 14 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews; his aunts, Julieta, Juliana, Marta, Alba, and Lillian and by his uncle, Carlos Luis Brenes. Besides his mother, Maria, he was predeceased by his aunt, Flory. Because of Covid 19 restrictions, a walk-through visitation will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA.
