Alice Filip

October 20, 1930 - June 21, 2014

HOLYOKE- Alice C. (Wesolowski) Filip, 83, passed away June 21, 2014 at Country Estates Nursing Home in Agawam. Alice was born on October 20, 1930 to the late Theodore and Anna Wesolowski in Adams, MA. She moved to Holyoke with her beloved husband John and spent many years together before his passing in 1987. Alice was also predeceased by her daughter, Amy Filip-Roy in 2013 and her brother Joseph Wesolowski in 1993. She leaves behind her daughter, Christine Grady of Holyoke; two granddaughters Sarah Grady of Holyoke and Emily Roy of Las Vegas, NV; two great grandsons, Richard Houle and Julian Roy; and a great great grandson, Richard Houle Jr., who had too short a time with his �Bobbie.� Alice is also survived by her sister, Loryn Deane of Wildwood, NJ; and two brothers Ted Wesolowski of Gulfport, MS and Fred Wesolowski and his wife Ruth of Adams, MA. Many nieces and nephews were adored by Alice and will miss her terribly. Alice also leaves many good friends, especially her friends and neighbors at Sycamore House, where she spent many happy years. A private family funeral will be held in the Berkshires at a later date.
